Project 1:Twitter segmentation project

The notion of influence plays an important role in how businesses operate and is heavily linked to viral marketing and even how the society functions. Studying influence patterns can help us better understand why certain trends or innovations are adopted faster than others and how we could help advertisers and marketers design more effective campaigns.The goal of this project is to be able to identify Influencers in Africa and see what are the metrics to consider when looking for Influencers.

Involves:

  •  Web scrapping of influencers from websites

  • Searching and downloading Twitter data for the influencers using Twitter API

  • Performing sentimental analysis to understand the influence score of each influencer to drive a marketing decision

  • A sample plot from the project.

Project 2: Health Data Analysis

Involves:

  • Getting data from WHO servers

  • Analysing the death rate and the probability of dying between countries using collected data

  • Analysing the probability of dying for age 30-70 with NCD

  • Analysis of the cases, deaths and recoveries of COVID19 between countries with data from John Hopkins Server

Project 3 : Deeper into TellCo company

  Involves:

  • ​ Applying Data wrangling techniques on the telecommunication data

  • Performing different Analysis on the user data

  • Plotting self explanatory visualizations that are rich in insights

  • Providing comprehensive report on the analysis to management for decision making.

Project4: Senegal_Covid-19_Inference

Objective: To quantify the statistical significance of a public health policy introduced by Senegal government to slow down the spread of COVID-19.

Includes:

  • Using statistical modelling

  • Using PyMC3 - a standard Bayesian modelling package in Python

  • Working with remote data

  • Running and modifying a moderately large python package
